PLANTAIN PORIYAL/VAAZHAKAI PORIYAL


ingredients:

plantain 2
onion 2
dry red chilli 1
mustard,cumin,urad dal 1tsp
turmeric pwdr1/2 tsp
chilli pwdr 1/2 tsp
coriander pwdr 1/2 tsp
oil,salt

method:

1.peel the plantain, cut and boil it in hot water.
2.it cooks easily, so don't cook in pressure cooker.
3.heat oil in a pan, add mustard, cumin, urad dal to splutter.
4.break red dry chilli into 2 or 3 pieces, add curry leaves and onions.
5.saute the onions.
6.put the cooked plantain and saute for a while add all the powders.
7.add salt and garnish with coriander.
