PARANGIKAI PULI KUZHAMBU



ingredients:

yellow pumpkin/parangikai(diced) 2 cups
onion 1, garlic 2 pods,tomato 1, green chilli 2
sambar,coriander,turmeric pwrds
tamarind(small lemon size)
fenugreek 1/2 tsp
mustard,cumin,urad dal,curry leaves.
oil,salt,coriander leaves

method:

1.heat oil in a pan
2.splutter mustard,cumin,urad dal,fenugreek ,curry leaves.
3.add garlic ,onion,green chilli and saute.
4.add tomato and saute well.
5.add the diced pumpkins and saute gently.
6.add salt& little water cover and cook for 5 min.
7.add sambar ,turmeric ,coriander pwdrs.
8.check the pumpkin is cooked.
9.pour the tamarind juice.
10.leave it for 3 min & garnish with coriander.

you can add 3tsp of jaggery water(optional)
